who decided that you need some deep back story in order to justify your tattoo
if you think a deer is gonna look cool as hell on your arm then go ahead and get it tattooed
I need feminism because when I cut my hair short all of my friends assumed that I “came out” as a lesbian.
I have a boyfriend.
Some still don’t belive that I’m not bi.
You wouldn’t believe the amount of times someone would scream dyke at me after I cut my hair short.
Here are some awesome and empowering quotes from several very strong female celebrities.
And Kristen Stewart.
No, you know what? Fuck you.
Let me tell you about Kristen Stewart.
Let’s talk about how she’s the centerpiece of one of the most inexplicably popular misogynistic pieces of film shit and somehow gets blamed for it sucking, despite the fact that, hey, the books were actually worse. For those who were lucky enough to escape reading the actual books, her apparent lack of emotion is 100% accurate to Bella’s character, because Bella is in fact not a character but a blank white wall for fourteen-year-old girls to project themselves onto. Robert Pattinson is not the only one in the cast who hates Twilight, thank you.
Let’s talk about how she got crucified in the media for having an affair with a married man, when that man was her director. And let’s remember that she was called all manner of things for “ruining her relationship with RPattz” when she wasn’t even engaged to the dude, let alone married with kids. But oh no, she gets called a slut because she’s Kristen Stewart, she gets her career fucked because she’s Kristen Stewart, and the dude gets off scott free.
Let’s talk about how she is incredibly shy and anxious (rather, incidentally, like Chris Evans) but does film anyway, because she’s just that awesome.
Fuck your noise. She’s not the best actor in the world but she sure as hell doesn’t deserve that kind of shit.
Is no one going to mention Zooey Deschanel’s comment, or…
I see what you’re saying but I don’t think the statement itself was bad. She was defending femininity, not downgrading masculinism, or being cissexist.
freedom of speech means that the government is not allowed to tell you to shut the fuck up. it doesn’t mean that i am not allowed to tell you to shut the fuck up.
in 7 years its going to be the 20s again so we can bring back swing music and the aesthetics of that era but keep modern values who’s with me
you can’t repeat the past
can’t repeat the past? why, of course you can! of course you can.
Yay for white nostalgia!
WSJ reports Yahoo board has approved a $1.1 billion deal — in cash — to purchase Tumblr.
Well…it’s been fun
I’m not misandrist, but I hate when a fat hairy guy doesn’t wear a shirt. Only attractive men should be allowed to walk around with their shirts off. If they don’t like it, they should just go to the gym and lose some weight!
Yes, yes 1000X YES!
The comments are actually far better than the article in this case though.
Wow, yet another wake up call to my own white privilege. I’ve honestly never really considered this before. I side-eye anyone who claims they would never date an (insert any ethnicity here) as much as I do someone who claims they will only date (insert any ethnicity here). Race would certainly never deter me, but I do recognize that’s my white privilege showing again. I don’t want to be one of those obnoxious white people who claim they’re “colour-blind”.
Being skeptical that another person can be incapacitated by a mental illness because you cope just fine with your problems is basically the same as saying “I don’t understand why other people’s brakes fail, because my car works great.”
I reblog this every time.
White people get mad when you wear a band t shirt of a band you don’t listen to, but they’re fine with wearing headdresses from cultures they know and care nothing about.
