Wow, yet another wake up call to my own white privilege. I’ve honestly never really considered this before. I side-eye anyone who claims they would never date an (insert any ethnicity here) as much as I do someone who claims they will only date (insert any ethnicity here). Race would certainly never deter me, but I do recognize that’s my white privilege showing again. I don’t want to be one of those obnoxious white people who claim they’re “colour-blind”.
